However, what happens when the job is not as glamorous or thrilling, such as phasing out a product? How do you inspire your team to embrace the mission of gracefully retiring the product? The decision to discontinue a product is a crucial one, and when handled with care, it can preserve customer relationships, minimize disruption, and ensure a smooth transition. In this comprehensive guide, we&#8217;ll explore the key steps and considerations for product managers when it&#8217;s time to say goodbye to a product.
